In this blog we give you an overview of some of the different shoes of Hoka One One that TRI-BIKE ARUBA has in stock, with their different purposes. Road running shoes
We can divide our collection of Hoka One One in 3 different types: road running shoes, trail running shoes and recovery shoes. We’ll kick off with the ‘traditional’ running shoe: the road running shoes.
The headliner of the road running collection is the Carbon X. This high-performance shoe features a specially-engineered carbon fiber plate and an aggressive Meta-Rocker designed to provide an efficient, propulsive ride. The PROFLY X technology – which is a special combination of foams, employed with Hoka’s trademark geometry - delivers an inherently stable, soft and responsive experience. Completed with a lightweight upper scrutinized through the lens of speed, the Carbon X is designed to empower athletes to fly.
The Bondi is the most cushioned road shoe in the collection of Hoka One One. This shoe is available in a regular and wide width. The Bondi 6 offers a smooth, balanced ride delivered by the full EVA midsole, the comfortable and breathable upper, and Hoka’s Meta-Rocker technology. This delivers a consistent ride for all distances. The Bondi 6 will take you far and wide in comfort.
The shoe that changed runners’ perceptions of what HOKA ONE ONE® could be, the Clifton 6 joins the award-winning Clifton family. Building upon the Clifton’s best qualities, the “6” continues to deliver that perfect combination of soft and light. It has a smoother ride with a more comfortable fit and includes an embroidered design that improves lockdown without extra weight. The Clifton 6 is available in a regular and wide width.
The Arahi 4 is well known for it’s stability. The shoe provides a ride that is smooth and supportive but still prioritizes performance. Featuring Hoka’s patent-pending J-Frame™ stability technology, the Arahi 4 offers support and agility throughout your run.
Nimble, responsive and dynamic, the Tracer 2 is a very fast, very light road racer. Good luck finding another shoe this light with this much cushion anywhere else. The PROFLY™ dual density midsole, which offers superior cushioning in the heel and heightened responsiveness in the forefoot, the sock-like feel, and its unique balance of protection and performance make this shoe one-of-a-kind. Add to that the ultra-lightweight upper, which features an engineered mesh and TPU overlay for those looking for a performance edge when the going gets fast.
Trail running shoes
On Aruba we have a lot of great off-road trails where you can run! If you like being in the ‘real’ nature, trail running will be your new passion.
The EVO Mafate 2, available for men and women, takes performance on the trails to the next level. It was developed together with input from elite trail runners. This shoe has a balanced cushion and an aggressive outsole, to secure that you can attack every trail you want.
Named for HOKA Athlete Karl “Speedgoat” Meltzer, the Speedgoat 4 is part of an award-winning family known for making quick work of technical terrain. The fourth edition features a new breathable yet rugged mesh, and is available in a regular and wide width. Hoka included 3D printed overlays for increased midfoot support and an overall more secure feel. Most importantly, they added a more accommodating fit in the toe box for a more comfortable ride. Grippy on the uphill and secure on the downhill, the Speedgoat 4 is badass on every trail.
Fast and light on the trail, the Challenger ATR 5’s midsole geometry ensures a smooth ride on the road. While the distinctive multi-lugged outsole leaves you in no doubt as to its trail heritage. Arranged closer together towards the heel for a smoother, more consistent ride, the lugs have a wider spread in the forefoot to help with grip on the trail and in wet conditions. The Challenger ATR 5 also features a modified midfoot design for improved lockdown as well as a supportive heel counter for lateral and medial security. It looks fast and goes fast.
Recovery shoes
Whether you’re recovering from a run, competition, workout or a long day on your feet, these breathable, super-cushioned Ora slip-ons will change your day. They’re the perfect travel companions as they fold down, pack into a carry-on and have signature HOKA ONE ONE cushioning. You’ll soon find yourself making excuses to never take them off 😉.
