The ultimate #KedaCas / #StayAtHome cycling watch list

Aruba is currently in ‘shelter in place’ mode. Of course, you can still go out for an (easy) swim, ride or run. But, for the remaining time, the government asks us to stay as much as possible inside our houses. We’d like to recommend you some great cycling movies and documentaries, to kill time in quarantine.

De Stig

A documentary about the impressive rehabilitation of Stig Broeckx, former pro-cyclist of Lotto-Soudal. The talented Belgium cyclist suffered serious injuries after a crash in 2016 and was in coma for a long period. This documentary was broadcasted on the Belgium TV last week.

De Ronde 103

Belgium is crazy about cycling, and the excitement is at it’s maximum during the Tour of Flanders (Ronde van Vlaanderen). This historical race was actually planned for last weekend, but was cancelled due to the Corona virus. But, the Belgium TV broadcasted a ‘behind the scenes’ documentary of last year’s race: De Ronde 103. A must see!

Transit

Transit is a movie about the the final day of the career of pro-cyclist Laurens ten Dam. After this race, he goes on a bike packing trip, together with friends: Live Slow Ride Fast!

EF Gone (Alternative) Racing

EF Education First is an American World Tour pro-cycling team that goes beyond the ‘traditonal’ racing program. Their videos about the races give you an insight in these great events. Our personal favourite: GBDURO!
