BIKE MECHANIC (PT/FT)

TRI-BIKE ARUBA is looking for an enthusiastic Bike Mechanic to join our team. As Aruba’s longest-running and leading bike, triathlon, swim and running shop, we work with a wide range of bikes, from road and gravel to mountain bikes and e-bikes. Every day is different, and quality and customer service is always our priority.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

 

As a Bike Mechanic at TRI-BIKE, you will be responsible for keeping our customers riding safely and smoothly.

Your day may include:

​

• Assembling and preparing new bikes for customers;

• Diagnosing and repairing bikes of different types and brands;

• Performing regular maintenance and full services;

• Preparing and maintaining our rental bikes;

• Carrying out adjustments, installations and troubleshooting;

• Helping customers with technical questions and finding the right solution;

• Keeping the workshop clean, organized and professional;

• Working closely with our sales and workshop team to provide the best possible customer experience.

Some days you'll be working on scheduled services and repairs, while on other days you'll be helping a customer who needs a last-minute repair before heading out for a ride. You never quite know what will come through the workshop door, and that's part of the fun!

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

We are looking for someone who:

​

• Has experience as a bike mechanic and is comfortable working on different types of bikes, or is highly motivated to develop the necessary skills;

• Has a passion for bikes and enjoys working with their hands;

• Works accurately and takes pride in delivering quality work;

• Understands the importance of excellent customer service;

• Is a team player who enjoys working with others;

• Is motivated to continuously develop their technical knowledge through training and hands-on experience;

• Is flexible and available to work part-time or full-time, including weekends;

• Is always looking to learn, improve and become better at what they do.
